Work
Find a downloaded job, verify crew and equipment, review checks, queue work transitions and retain completion evidence.
ANDROID + IOS · RELEASE 0.5 PILOT
Native field apps bring equipment, checklists and evidence to the job. The complete online workspace keeps engineers and managers connected to the same utility records.
ONE SHIFT, A TRACEABLE HANDOVER
BUILT FOR THE JOB
Power, water, gas, telecom, wastewater, stormwater and district heating share one field work cycle, with utility-specific measurement context.
Find a downloaded job, verify crew and equipment, review checks, queue work transitions and retain completion evidence.
Search downloaded equipment. Capture condition, a fresh GPS fix, photo evidence and measurements with explicit units.
Review queued evidence, trigger synchronization and inspect acceptance receipts. Changed revisions require explicit review.
Use all ten online modules inside the app, including Mappls maps, engineering, incidents, design, fibre and data workflows.
Check the connected service, role and saved pack. Renew sign-in at the same server and role while preserving pending evidence.
Authenticated encryption protects native packs and queues on the device. Records remain queued until accepted or explicitly resolved.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT WORKSPACE
| Work | Native Android / iOS | Web workspace |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment and jobs | Downloaded records available offline | Shared register, assignment and review online |
| Inspection evidence | GPS/photo capture and encrypted offline queue | Browser inspection queue; separate from native storage |
| Checks and readings | Queue checklists, transitions and utility measurements | Review synchronized work and observations |
| Maps and engineering | Available online in the embedded Workspace | Full online module experience |
| Synchronization | Manual, foreground sync with receipts and conflict review | Review accepted records after refresh |
Prepare the pack before losing connectivity. Native queues hold up to 100 entries. Mappls tiles are not available offline. A local save is not proof that the server accepted the record.
ACCOUNTABILITY ON EVERY DEVICE
Verify the job and equipment, perform approved checks, capture findings, then reconcile the outbox before handover.
Collect observations in the field. Use online engineering to investigate and assign follow-up work.
Review accepted evidence, govern approvals and oversee data quality through the online workspace.
Read downloaded assets and work. Review progress online and hand questions to the responsible owner.
The pilot uses shared role accounts. Crew filters help find jobs; they do not enforce individual crew authorization. Your organisation supplies approved operating procedures and authority.
PILOT AVAILABILITY
Android 8 or later. iOS 17 or later. The current evaluation includes an Android development package and an iOS simulator build with Xcode source.
Company signing, verified HTTPS hosting and physical-device camera, GPS and offline-shift acceptance are required for customer distribution.
Discuss your mobile pilot ↗Named identity and crew scopes, licensed offline maps, delta synchronization, push dispatch and managed-device controls are roadmap items. Current sync runs in the foreground when requested.
No App Store or Google Play listing is currently available. Live cloud and custom-domain verification remain pending.
