Mappls Utility Platform privacy notice

Mappls Utility Platform is provided by CE Info Systems Limited (MapmyIndia). This notice covers its web workspace, native field apps and product enquiry form.

Field and workspace data

The connected utility workspace stores equipment and work records, inspection findings, checklist results, measurements, timestamps and audit history. When you explicitly capture a location or photo and synchronize the record, it also receives the inspection coordinates, location accuracy and evidence image. These records are linked to the selected equipment, job and signed-in role. The pilot uses shared roles rather than individual employee accounts.

Camera, location and offline storage

Camera and location access are requested for the inspection you initiate. The native apps do not continuously track crews or access contacts. Downloaded field packs, sessions, drafts and pending records are encrypted on the device. Synchronization runs when you request it in the foreground. Resolve queued work before signing out; confirmed sign-out clears the downloaded pack and local drafts. Session expiry prevents new server requests but does not remotely erase downloaded records.

Purpose and service providers

Records support utility planning, maintenance, inspections and operational review. Authorized workspace users can access data according to their role. The configured hosting and database services process synchronized records. Online maps and location services use Mappls. Apple and Google process beta distribution and platform diagnostics under their own policies. This app does not include advertising or third-party advertising tracking.

Retention, correction and deletion

Server records remain until the workspace administrator applies the organization’s retention or deletion process. Clearing a device does not delete accepted server records. Contact your utility administrator or MapmyIndia representative for access, correction or deletion, identifying the workspace and record reference. The app has no public account registration. Do not record personal or confidential information that is unnecessary for the authorized utility task.

Product enquiries

When you submit an enquiry, MapmyIndia receives your name, work email, organisation, optional role, utility focus and message to review and respond to your request.

How the platform uses these details

The application stores submissions in a private administrator inbox. Administrators can record follow-up status and internal notes. The form does not subscribe you to a mailing list and does not automatically send an email.

Access and technical records

Only authorised administrators can read submissions. The application stores consent time and an audit reference. It uses short-lived keyed identifiers for submission rate limiting. These rate-limit records expire after one day.

Your choices

Contact your MapmyIndia representative to request access, correction or deletion of an enquiry, quoting its reference. For company contact information and the broader privacy policy, visit MapmyIndia’s privacy policy. Enquiry records remain until an administrator applies the organisation’s retention or deletion process.

Appropriate enquiry content

Please do not submit credentials, personal customer records or confidential infrastructure coordinates through this marketing form.
